  • generate AI-assisted responses grounded in uploaded materials
  • retrieve information using semantic and keyword search
  • maintain audit logs and traceability

The Service is designed for enterprise use with strict access control and data isolation.

3. Eligibility and Account Use

To use the Service:

  • You must have a valid account authenticated via Microsoft Entra ID
  • You must be authorized by your organization to access the Service
  • You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • all activities performed under your account

4. Organizational Accounts

The Service operates on a multi-tenant model:

  • Each organization ("tenant") controls its own users, documents, and configurations
  • Organization administrators are responsible for:
    • managing user access
    • assigning roles
    • controlling document uploads and deletions

We are not responsible for internal access decisions made by your organization.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • upload content that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Customer Data

6.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to:

  • documents you upload
  • data generated within your organization

We do not claim ownership of your data.

6.2 Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring you have the right to upload and process documents
  • compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
  • managing access within your organization

6.3 Data Processing

We process your data solely to:

  • provide the Service
  • generate embeddings and AI responses
  • enable retrieval and search
  • maintain system functionality and security

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service provides AI-generated responses based on your uploaded documents.

You acknowledge that:

  • responses are generated probabilistically
  • responses may not always be complete or accurate
  • you are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them

The Service includes safeguards such as:

  • grounded responses based on retrieved documents
  • citation validation
  • fallback responses when insufficient data is available

8. Security and Access Control

We implement security measures including:

  • role-based access control (RBAC)
  • tenant-level data isolation
  • backend authorization enforcement
  • audit logging of key actions

You agree not to attempt to bypass or undermine these controls.

9. Availability and Service Changes

We aim to provide a reliable and high-availability service, but:

  • we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
  • maintenance, updates, or outages may occur
  • features may be modified, added, or removed over time

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, including:

  • Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage)
  • Azure OpenAI services (AI processing)

Use of the Service is subject to the availability and terms of these providers.

11. Fees and Billing

  • The Service may be offered on a subscription or usage-based model
  • Fees, billing cycles, and payment terms will be defined separately

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • your organization's access is revoked
  • required by law or security concerns

Upon termination:

  • access to the Service may be revoked
  • data handling will follow applicable retention policies

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • the Service is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

This includes:

  • loss of data
  • business interruption
  • reliance on AI-generated outputs

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InsightHub AI from any claims arising from:

  • your use of the Service
  • your uploaded content
  • violations of these Terms

15. Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service, including:

  • software
  • design
  • branding

are owned by InsightHub AI.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms
